Hands up who loves their Mum? Me, me, me! While we should appreciate them every day, it’s lovely that there is a day to officially recognise and appreciate the women who have read us bed time stories, held our hand on the way to school, lovingly cut the crusts off our year 1 sandwiches, and always been there for a hug when we’ve needed it.
To help you celebrate your wonderful mum, grandmother, or other special lady in your life this Mother’s Day, we’ve teamed up with the incredibly generous folk at Be Genki to bring you a Mamas Day competition that will more than make up for all the midnight “monster-under-the-bed” wakeup cries…

My Mom is the Best
Sh needs a well deserved rest
She still cooks, cleans and irons for me
That’s why she’s the BEST
I’m going to be completely selfish and say I’m the best mum (to be) in the world.
I’m 31 weeks pregnant and have just moved house.
I need me some Be Genki!
My friends Mum, now known as Grandma Lynne, is the best in the world because she has not only been a Mum to me when I have needed one, but she has now been a Grandmother to my girls. I don’t know what we would do without her, we are so blessed and honoured to have her in our lives and know what it is like to have a real Mother & Grandmother. Blessings to all, Kaz
My mother since the day I was born.
I feel privileged to have someone who is inspirational and who has helped me to become who I am today even through some very hard times.
Any mother who is there for their child in the same way my mother is, deserves the world.
(Also Congratulations Jess, and all the best to you)
My mum is the best because she always puts her children first and is always there when we need her. She lives in FNQ and we live in Perth so I Won’t be with her this mothers day. It would be nice to give her something extra special for all the hard work she does! 🙂
This prize sounds fantastic being in my 65th year I am in need od TLC and relaxation, I think I’ve been a good mother to my beautiful children and grandchildren and try to help and be there for them always, this would be great to share with them
wow!! thanks for the lovely giveaway 🙂
My mom is the best because lets me be my own self and is my biggest cheerleader every step of the way!
My mum is responsible for me understanding the importance of ‘self love’ and for that I respect, love and am kind to myself! She taught me the importance of life balance in all aspects, the power of positive thinking and she’s kept me strong throughout some of life’s difficult curve balls despite going through her own! Super Mum!
My daughter has become a mummy for the first. In less than two weeks she has shown me what an incredible mum she is. From well before giving birth, giving birth and now caring for her beautiful daughter Finella she has shown me an incredibel strong and absolutely amazing women who I have now doubt will be the best mom in the whole world.
My mum is the best because she has always been both the father and mother. She’s such a strong woman and has had such a hard life and is always trying to please people. She puts others ahead of herself and I don’t think she has ever gone to a salon (being a beautician herself) She deserves everything and more. Love her muchly xxoo
she has put up with my twin brother and I for the past 36 years. Well, it’s been a pleasure raising me but him…..LOL!
I am going with my sister in law as she supported me throughout my pregnancies, births, breastfeeding and me trying to work out how to be a good mum and is always there when I need her.. I do love her
My mum is my number one because although she lives in england and I now live in Perth we are still in touch nearly everyday. Although I am nearly 30 when I am sad it is her I need. When we stay in touch daily if the message is via email she sometimes signs off love mummatron ( a nick name she gave herself) mostly she signs off ATTIC ( which means all the tea in china… As in I love you that much). She also needs a treat as she is on crutches after an operator for hurting her knee with some over enthusiastic disco dancing at an Xmas party!!!
Because im a male and every guy cant do anything without his mum
Because she has been a good role model us daughtes all our lives, she has always been there for us with love and support and a shoulder to cry on. She stuck by dad all through the marriage which was over 40 years when he passed away. I never heard them argue , never did mum say a bad word to dad. She is more than a mother to me, she is an Angel.
My nan was an amazing woman – generous with her time and affection, she taught me the importance of being authentic and valuing the good in everyone. She died on Sunday – I wish now that I’d been a better granddaughter in the last 5 years. I still love her.
My mum is the best because she is hilarious but doesn’t realise it.
My mother knows and understands every nuance of me, she is a part of me but an even better version. She can read me like a book, she loves and accepts me through all the horrible things I say and do. I know she will be there for me regardless and she makes me want to be the best mother for my children.
She gave birth to me 😉
There’s nothing like the food my amazing mum cooks for my tum!
And after seeing 4 kids through birth to beginning to start our own families
I think she deserves to win some serenity!
My Mum is the best because she has always been my best friend! x
My Mum is the BEST MUM IN THE WORLD because she has taught & encouraged ME how to be the best Mum to my 1.5 babies. Every little thing she does to help me, enables me to be a better Mum to my children – even though we live 3 hours apart she is here as soon as she is asked to be.
The reason my mum deserves this is becaue she was a single mother at the young age of 14 and yet she still managed to achieve everything she set out to do career wise (and is at the top of her field) and proved to me that you don’t have to choose motherhood or achieving your own goals that you can do both and love life whilst doing it! At 27 this year and starting to think about starting a family myself I think I have had the best role model not only that but she is my bestfriend and has been such an inspiration to me and my brother and sister. I can’t think of a better role model for my children when the time comes!
My dear Mumma is the best in my eyes 🙂 Mum has taught me the value of caring, compassion and kindness and is one of the most thoughtful people I know. I’m proud to be her daughter and enjoy making her proud of being my mother 🙂
My mother is the best in the whole wide WORLD! because she has a heart of gold!, she has encouraged me in everything I have ever wanted to do in life, turns into a nurse when anyone is ill and well overall she is an amazingly strong and loving person, who goes out of her way to help everyone! She could definately use a calming pack such as this one! fingers crossed mumma bear!
she’s priceless to me and the rest of our family.
My mother has always gone without to make sure her kids have always had an education, cloths ect. That’s not as easy on a single wage but the thing that really makes my mum the best is because she has always taken in other peoples teenagers/ young adults if they were in need and has never asked for anything in return as well as treating everyone like they were her own kids. She’s now in her 60’s, still working full time and has never been to a day spa, beauty salon. I would love to be able to give her a chance to pamper herself, so for once she can think about her self and not everyone else!
My mum is patient and is always there for us to support, help and love. Good onya mum xx
My mumma is the most amazing selfless woman around! I couldn’t live without her doing things for me – whether it be making sure the pantry is stocked with my favourite things or ironing all my washing when I dump it in her machine! Plus she is actually the BEST cook in the world and will usually make whatever I ask of her even if its a pain in the bum!
My mum is amazingly patient and always has been, especially when I look back and see what a bratty teenager I was! And she’s one of the few people I know who’s happy to listen rather than dole out advice that she knows I won’t listen to, even when she knows it means I’ll come back to her after something has gone wrong.
She has just spent her whole holidays helping me after I have become a mummy myself. Driving, cooking, cleaning. Even though her kids are grown she has gone above and beyond to keep being the best mum that she is.
My mother is an angel. Her heart is of the purest gold. Her smile shines as bright as the sun. She is my best friend, an amazing lady and good fun.
